FerroForum
The FerroForum was created with the aim of preserving and promoting the cultural and industrial heritage of Esch, as well as showcasing the know-how about the processing of iron and steel into products we use every day. The space, originally restored as part of the Esch 2022 European Capital of Culture programme, is a destination for all those who are curious about how metal objects (things that last) get made. Established as a non-profit association, the FerroForum space is located in the central workshop of the former Arbed Esch-Schifflange ironworks.

Galerie Schlassgoart
The Schlassgoart Gallery was founded in 1993 on the initiative of the ARBED group, which has since become ArcelorMittal. Created by a non-profit association, the Schlassgoart Gallery holds exhibitions in the premises of the Centenary Pavilion/ArcelorMittal. This steel building with its daring architecture, located in Rue Arthur Useldinger, was donated to the City of Esc by ArcelorMittal Luxembourg on the occasion of the City’s Centenary. The Schlassgoart Gallery’s mission is to promote contemporary art in all its forms and to be a space for socio-cultural debate and exchange open to art lovers and the general public. Through its exhibitions, the Schlassgoart Gallery is proud to contribute to the diversity of the cultural offer of Esch.

Escher Theater
Standing right on one corner of Resistance Square (also known as Brillplaz) in the heart of Esch, the Escher Theater is both a receiving and producing organisation. Each season, the theatre offers around 50 performances of theatre, dance and music – together with creative work which span all these disciplines. Here you can see productions from European theatres as well as from Luxembourg, but also work co-created with the local community. As Luxembourg stands at the crossroads of other countries, the venue asserts its cross-border and multicultural vocation through multilingual programming, primarily in French and German. Since 2018, plays for young audiences have been one of the main focuses of its programme.
