Learn more about nature, environment and climate

The Ellergronn Nature and Forest Centre offers the permanent exhibition “Transition Now; Nature, Climate and Us”, which examines the Anthropocene, its impacts on the environment, as well as the international, national, regional and local actions, strategies, programmes and initiatives to be undertaken to address them. The Ellergronn Centre is perfectly suited to address these issues. Located in the heart of the Minett region, which has been heavily affected by industrialisation, but is gradually witnessing a restoration of nature’s resources in the former opencast mines.
