Where? 85, Rue de l'Alzette, L-4011 Esch-sur-Alzette

The Escher Infofabrik is the tourist office of the city of Esch.

The Escher Infofabrik is the tourist office of the city of Esch. It’s located in Rue de l’Alzette, the beating heart of the city. It offers visitors and locals alike information and leaflets on accommodation, restaurants, heritage and cultural sites, and tourist attractions, listings of cultural events for the whole of Luxembourg, but especially for Esch and the surrounding region. The interior of the building reflects the glorious industrial past of Esch with a contemporary twist. Here, urban art is celebrated thanks to a mural by Luxembourgish artiste Eric Mangen.

Escher Theater
Standing right on one corner of Resistance Square (also known as Brillplaz) in the heart of Esch, the Escher Theater is both a receiving and producing organisation. Each season, the theatre offers around 50 performances of theatre, dance and music – together with creative work which span all these disciplines. Here you can see productions from European theatres as well as from Luxembourg, but also work co-created with the local community. As Luxembourg stands at the crossroads of other countries, the venue asserts its cross-border and multicultural vocation through multilingual programming, primarily in French and German. Since 2018, plays for young audiences have been one of the main focuses of its programme.
