As you arrive in Belval, you can see, in the distance, a sunflower-yellow building whose undulating shape interacts with the curved topography of this former Luxembourg mining area. Its colour – called ‘construction-site-yellow’ pays homage to the working-class world.
This quirky 400m2 building, designed by Luxembourg-based Polaris Architects, is now rented out for various meetings or events
By the way, the name comes from the carts that in the past transported iron ore up an inclined lift for loading into the blast furnace.
