Description
Versatile hike through idyllic orchards, along dry stone walls and pastures. Pure nature and beautiful panoramic views over the region await you on the path through the Deiwelskopp nature reserve.
The hiking trail starts at the school and sports complex near the village of Born. At the beginning of the path is a geological barefoot trail "Salzmännchegaart". The ascent to Wangertbierg is rewarded with wide views over the village of Born and the Sauer valley. Then the path leads along regionally typical orchards and dry stone walls into a forest area. The path passes rocks and dry grassland above the village of Moersdorf. Here the path runs together with the orchid nature trail of the Fondatioun "Hellef Fir D ́-Natur". Then it goes back down to Born.
