Description
Hikers discover the wetlands of the Éislek over 10.5 kilometres. The trail leads partly over wooden footbridges, provides access to observation huts and offers the chance to encounter rare species.
This circular trail leads through the impressive Cornelysmillen wetlands. Between Troisvierges, Basbellain and Wilwerdange, hikers can explore a varied landscape with meadows, hedges, ponds and streams. In short: a habitat for many rare animal and plant species.
Wooden footbridges, observation huts and information boards provide exciting insights along the way. With a bit of luck, one might even spot the shy black stork. Ornithologists regularly see them here. The starting and finishing point is the railway station in Troisvierges, great for a sustainable journey. The trail is not barrier-free, but is perfect for anyone who wants to experience nature up close.
