Description
The Comfort Trail Op der Déckt is a pleasantly quiet hiking path specifically designed to meet the needs of people with limited mobility.
Right at the start, there is a parking lot, and halfway along the route, a detour to the Mardellen and a rest area invite you to linger. At the end of the trail, you can enjoy the view of the open landscape.
The excellent path quality and well-maintained infrastructure (parking lot, shelter, seating areas, Mardelle viewpoint) make it possible for people in wheelchairs, those with mobility impairments, seniors, and families with strollers or balance bikes to experience the forest.
The nearest accesible toiletts are at the cimetery in Gonderingen, at the P&R Junglinster or in the Shopping Center Laangwiss.
For your safety
The condition of the path can be affected by weather conditions (e.g., after heavy rainfalls). Please check in case of doubt with one of the surrounding tourist information offices in advance.
Equipment
The path is sufficiently wide, mostly easy to walk and navigate, and has no major inclines (max. 8%). Therefore, it is well-suited for families, older visitors, or people with mobility impairments.
Journey
The best way to reach the site is via the CR125. Follow the signs from there.
