Urban Art by Spike

Where? 1, Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, L-9087 Ettelbruck

From the parking lot in front of the Ettelbrück town hall, the view is directed towards the graffiti by Luxembourgish artist Spike.

Spike is an artist known since the mid-90s for his iconic shapes, who abandons the form of walls to use new canvases. In other words, he uses old, decaying structures to create masterpieces worthy of being photographed. Discovering new places and becoming one with the history of these old places is part of what makes up his art. He connects his art to the history of these once-functional structures, and sometimes, he even matures along with them.
