Urban Art by Mantra

Where? 12, Rue de l'Arcade, L-9014 Ettelbruck

Upon arriving at the ‘Place de la Libération,’ you’ll immediately come across two massive pieces of graffiti. In 2017, the first graffiti by Mantra was created here, bringing a piece of nature back into the city. The tree at ‘Place de la Libération’ was perfectly integrated into the artwork by the French artist.

Mantra grew up amidst the bustling noise of the city and the tranquil whispers of the countryside, eventually becoming a self-taught artist in the French graffiti scene. His childhood fascination with butterflies is evident in all his works, where he masterfully blends surrealistic elements with realistic portrayals of a central female figure set against a rural backdrop. The final artwork reflects the challenges encountered during the painting process and is notably influenced by the prominent tree at Place de la Libération.
