Somewhat hidden in the park, you will come across a transformer and an old advertising column, both beautified by Collin Van den Sluis in August 2023.
Collin van der Sluijs realized already a mural back in 2021 under the Deich bridge. He returned in august 2023 to realize this project. Inspired by the surrounding he realized this “freestyle” artwork. He is also known for his murals illustrating birds (a passion he got from his grandfather) which you can find all over the world. But he has a special crush on Chicago where you can find his artworks at Vertical Gallery but also all in the “South Side” neighborhood.
