Course description

Join our parent-child djembe class, designed for children aged 3 to 15 and their parents, to share a musical experience rich in emotion, learning and bonding. This class offers an immersion in the vibrant world of African percussion, with a particular focus on the djembe, a traditional and iconic instrument of West Africa.

Over the course of the sessions, parents and children learn together to listen, coordinate their movements and express their creativity through traditional rhythms. This class helps to develop concentration, rhythmic memory and mutual listening in a supportive and fun environment. The djembe becomes a genuine bridge between generations, offering everyone an accessible and joyful space for self-expression.

Guided by Marcel, an experienced and passionate percussionist, you will discover not only the fundamental techniques of the djembe, but also the history, culture and human richness surrounding this ancient instrument. Every beat of the drum becomes a silent message that strengthens family bonds, releases tension and nurtures self-confidence.
