Knitting coffee at the Museum
Free gatherings for everyone centered on knitting, art, and culture.
The "Museum Knitting Cafés" are gatherings organized by the non-profit association *Mamie et Moi* in collaboration with the Luxembourg City Museums. They consist of two main parts: two hours of conversation and knitting in the museum’s educational room over a cup of coffee, followed by a 30-minute guided tour led by a qualified guide.
Knitting materials are provided for participants, who can chat in various languages (primarily French) while knitting together.
Next, the *Mamie et Moi* facilitators give a short presentation on an aspect of Luxembourgish culture linked to the time of year. This session is interactive, with facilitators encouraging everyone to share their own knowledge and experiences regarding the topic at hand.

This part usually concludes with a quiz and a tasting of a traditional dish, often prepared by the *Mamie et Moi* facilitators.
Finally, the event wraps up with a guided tour focusing on a specific room or object in the museum that relates to Luxembourgish culture.
