Pipes have their ways
Pipes have their ways
Pipes have their ways.. is an air-based sound installation that uses everyday industrial materials — garden hoses, PVC pipes, and extractor hoods. It invites the audience to create sounds collectively, in an experience that is at once sensory, playful and social.
The project revisits the heritage of opera and traditional organ techniques through a contemporary and open-ended approach, where mechanics become a space for experimentation and encounter.
