Description
The hiking trail Biergerkäiz takes you over the plateau south of Bourglinster, along the Roman road, to the former Grand Ducal forest. From there, you pass through the “wild” part of Grünewald forest. This huge wooded area has a large recreational importance for the region and the agglomeration of the city of Luxembourg. There is nothing scientifically known about the stone cross Biergerkräiz which the trail is passing, only that it was built a long time ago. Keep walking through the forest, past a picturesque pavilion to get back to your starting point.
Equipment
Sturdy footwear and something to drink.
Journey
There is a free parking lot at the starting point.
