From the starting point opposite to the church of the agricultural of Eschweiler you turn into the forest called Déckt. This is a quiet, romantic mixed forest. The trail leads past a few mardels with their interesting flora and then through lush fields and green meadows past the Donatus chapel back to the starting point.

On the way back, it’s worth taking a short detour to Rue d’Olingen, where you will find the vending machine “Eeschler Wiseneeër” Regiomat. This vending machine offers regional products direct from the Wirtz Agri farm, available 24 hours a day. Among other things, you can buy fresh eggs, homemade pasta and other specialities produced on the farm.
