From the starting point in Beidweiler you walk up to the cycle path that was installed on the former railway line to Echternach. The hiking trail follows the course of the cycle path until Rippiger Gare, the former train station of Rippig, which now houses a restaurant. You walk past the RTL transmission towers back to the starting point through lush green meadows. The trail is also accessible with a stroller.
