Family-friendly hiking trail with a detour to one of the region's most impressive geosites: the Huel Lee
The B11 hiking trail starts along the road “An der Heeschbesch” in Berdorf. It is perfectly suited for families, as it is very short and easy to hike. However, the path is not suitable for prams.
You first walk along the stream and through the rocky landscape of Berdorf. You can only reach Huel Lee if, after having hiked for almost 800 m, you make a very short detour of about 150 m to the left. The Huel Lee is a man-made cave where millstones were cut out of the rocks.
You continue through the forest and go back to your starting point on an asphalt dirt road.
