The well-marked beautiful hiking trail takes you through the peaceful natural landscape around Widdebierg. You follow the markings and ascend the wooded Widdebierg. This fairly strenuous climb up to the forested plateau is definitely worth it due to the unbeatable panoramic views. From there, you continue through fields and orchards back to Mensdorf.
