Between the rivers Clerve and Wiltz runs a special adventure trail that is aimed primarily at children and families: the animal trail in Kautenbach. Amidst the beautiful landscapes of Nature Park Our, visitors of all ages discover in a fun way how animals use their senses.

Five stations invite them to experience the forest. Each station is dedicated to a sense and is complemented by a metal sculpture of a native animal. The tawny owl stands for hearing, the fox for sight, the wild boar for taste, the woodpecker for touch and the badger for smell.

Short texts and illustrations encourage observation and participation. The artistic figures were created by Éislek sculptor Raymond Birgen.
