In the grounds of the Monument to Europe, large stone blocks symbolise the 6 founding members of a united Europe.

The place where this monument was erected was not chosen at random. It stands at the tripoint between Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. The three national borders meet at the confluence of the Réibech and Our rivers.
