Panoramic Platform Belvédère Burfelt

Where? Esch-sur-Sûre

The Belvédère Burfelt panoramic platform is just a few minutes' drive from the Belgian border. Built in 2016, it rises 70 metres above the Upper Sûre reservoir and invites you to take in the unspoilt natural surroundings.

The platform itself is a modern wooden structure characterised by two narrow concrete walls that gently merge into load-bearing beams. This clever design ensures stability and at the same time provides an unobstructed view of the lake and its surroundings. Thanks to a glass railing, even the youngest visitors can enjoy the panorama in all its splendour.

The Belvédère Burfelt panorama platform is much more than just a vantage point - it is part of the ‘Burfelt’ forest adventure centre and offers an intense nature experience for the whole family.

The platform cannot be reached directly by car. It is possible to park 10 minutes away and walk to the platform. Several hiking trails also pass by it, including the Éislek Pad Insenborn, the western part of the Circuit du Lac and the local hiking trail ES 1.
