Escape into the world of books at Reading Worlds, a unique silent reading festival taking place on June 14, 2026, at the Schluechthaus in Hollerich. From 2 PM to 6 PM, enjoy a rare moment of calm and togetherness, surrounded by fellow book lovers in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Whether you’re deep into a novel, browsing a new non-fiction title, reading with your child, or rediscovering a personal favourite, Reading Worlds invites you to slow down, unplug, and read at your own pace — quietly, but together.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can move freely between different atmospheres, from cosy social areas to calmer reading spaces, depending on their mood. A soft and cosy DJ selection will set the tone in the background, creating an easygoing ambience without ever stealing the spotlight from the books.

- Bring your own book — or discover new ones through the book swap and a small selection of surprise “blind dates with a book”.
- Take part in interactive panels to share quotes, recommendations, or your reading mood.
- A dedicated kids’ reading corner welcomes younger readers and families.
- Catering will be available on site to keep everyone fuelled throughout the afternoon.
- Phones on mute. No rush, no programme, no pressure — just books, good vibes, and a shared love of reading.
