As part of Dodeka, Charel Breisch presents a concert for piano and organ in the Old St. Lawrence Church in Diekirch. Centered on the notion of fantasy, the program interweaves improvisations with works by composers ranging from Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck to Johann Sebastian Bach.
Alternating between the intimate sonorities of the piano and the expansive acoustics of the church's pipe organ, Charel Breisch creates an evolving musical landscape in which historical repertoire and improvisation inform one another.
