EN Botis Seva returns to the Grand Théâtre following BLKDOG (22 • 23) and Until We Sleep (24 • 25), this time for the world premiere of his first solo work. Sing Child Sing explores the ways we carry the past in our bodies and what it takes to loosen its hold. Drawing on autobiographical material, Seva traces how abandonment, faith, and frustration embed themselves physically, surfacing as both function and fracture. Within a room, perhaps in Botis' mind or Botis' childhood, animated by sound and light, his distinctive movement language, merging hip hop and contemporary practice, becomes a site of recalibration. The body confronts inherited patterns and slowly rewires itself. Rather than telling a story, the work offers an intimate portrait of a man suspended between memory and possibility, anatomically rebuilding himself.

Basierend auf autobiografischen Erfahrungen von Choreograf Botis Seva entwirrt das Stück, wie sich Verlassenwerden, Frustration und Glaube im Körper einschreiben – und wie sie zugleich als Antrieb und Bruchstelle sichtbar werden. Das Publikum wird hineingezogen in ein intimes Porträt von Botis’ innerer Wirklichkeit. Zu sehen ist der kraftvolle anatomische Wiederaufbau eines Mannes: Ein Körper, der sich den Ketten der Vergangenheit stellt, sich aufrichtet und seine Stärke zurückerobert.
