Wladigeroff Brothers feat. Stoil Ivanov
The trio brings together internationally acclaimed twin brothers Alexander and Konstantin Wladigeroff – grandsons of Pancho Vladigerov, Bulgaria's most celebrated composer -together with percussionist Stoil Ivanov. Having grown up in Sofia and now based in Vienna, the brothers have established themselves as leading ambassadors of contemporary Balkan jazz, seamlessly blending the rich musical heritage of the region with jazz, classical music and a touch of improvisation. Their acclaimed albums, including The Rag Waltz Time, Magie and Inspired Songs, reflect this distinctive musical language. During this special concert co-organised with CinEast and neimënster, the trio will present an original live soundtrack to F.W. Murnau's 1925 silent-film masterpiece Tartuffe, offering audiences a unique encounter between a cinema classic and the vibrant spirit of Balkan music. Line-Up:
