Open Floor: Breaking

Please always check KnowEdge's Instagram stories for the latest information (schedule changes, event cancellations, etc.).

Every Monday, join the KnowEdge community for an Open Floor dedicated to freestyle breaking fueled by raw beats, funk breaks, and hip-hop energy!

Breaking originated in the early 1970s as part of the emerging hip-hop culture alongside DJing, MCing, and Graffiti. Pioneers like DJ Kool Herc and the Rock Steady Crew helped shape and popularize the style, opening the doors to creative, nonviolent form of expression and competition.

The Open Floor: Breaking

is an open cypher for all levels dedicated to growing the breaking community in Luxembourg. Whether you're refining your style, exploring new movements, or simply vibing to the music, everyone is invited to step into the circle – no egos, just raw energy and open exchange!
