Join visual artist Tiffany Matos for a dedicated "Meet the Artist" evening celebrating her solo exhibition, “From the Outside Looking In.”.
Conceptualized around Roger Ulrich’s landmark 1984 study on environmental psychology—which demonstrated the restorative impact of a visual view onto nature within clinical settings—this collection bridges raw natural elements with suspended moments of light, color, and atmosphere. Each piece acts as a quiet visual window designed to lower stress, restore focus, and encourage inner equilibrium.
Working across painting, photography, sculpture, and video, Matos explores the tension between preservation and impermanence by combining processes like drying, painting, and resin encapsulation to suspend organic forms in time. Attendees are invited to experience the artwork, exchange ideas, and discuss the restorative role of visual art in healthcare environments.
