Christmas market in Luxembourg
The City’s original Christmas market remains on Place d'Armes, with its huge traditional Christmas tree, nativity scene, its, two carrousels and many chalets selling gifts. For an extra dose of joy, the site will also host fun and original events for all ages.
Artisans will offer many gift ideas and favourites: jewelry, Christmas decorations, winter clothes (scarves, hats, gloves), toys, wooden games, and handmade candles.
While gastronomy stands on the go will present many local and international specialties.
And of course, mulled wine (Glühwein) or fire pincer punch (Feuerzangenbowle), a sugar loaf soaked in rum and flambéed over a container containing rum, red wine and fruit juice. If you prefer a soft drink, you can always opt for the traditional hot chocolate!
