Description
The Auto-Pédestre Bürden trail leads over the Scharflee, a great viewpoint on Bourscheid Castle.
With its 4.5 kilometers, the Auto-Pédestre Bürden is a short but not to be underestimated circular hiking trail due to its strenuous ascent.
It starts at the cultural center in Bürden and heads downhill towards the Sauertal. At the steep bank, it turns around. You quickly reach the Scharflee. This viewpoint on the eponymous rock offers a great view of Bourscheid Castle and the Sauertal.
Now the Auto-Pédestre follows the rivercourse along the slopes of the Elsterbësch. Shortly before reaching the Wëlschterbaach, it goes steeply uphill, back towards Bürden.
