Sideschlee

Where? L-9907 Troisvierges

The Sideschlee in Troisvierges is an impressive viewpoint that offers hikers a wide panoramic view of the village and the surrounding countryside.

The Sideschlee is a viewpoint in Troisvierges that offers a panoramic view of the entire village. It is located directly on the hiking trails Éislek Pad Troisvierges, the Escapardenne Éislek Trail and the local hiking trail TV 3, and is thus ideally integrated into the region's hiking trail network. It cannot be reached by car.

The name ‘Lee’ means ‘rock’ in Luxembourgish and can be found in many place and field names. This is also the case here, where the Sideschlee forms a rocky ridge of typical regional slate rock. Hiking along the Sideschlee allows you to experience these special geological features of Éislek up close. The rocky ground and the sometimes narrow, stony paths require good footwear.
