High in the wooded hills surrounding Larochette lies Salzdeebelchen, a peaceful viewpoint offering impressive views over the town and the striking castle of Larochette.
The viewpoint is part of several hiking trails in the area and can, among others, be reached via the “Auto-Pédestre Larochette” hiking trail. After climbing the hills on the opposite side of the valley, hikers are rewarded at Salzdeebelchen with an impressive panorama.
The view of Larochette and the castle ruins towering above the town is particularly beautiful. The wooded hillsides and the characteristic landscapes of the Mullerthal region create a striking backdrop. Together with the other viewpoints around Larochette, Salzdeebelchen offers a unique perspective of the town and its historic castle.
