Where? 1, Marché-aux-Poissons -, L-2345 Luxembourg Art, Culture & Literature

06.07.2026 – 04.10.2026

This exhibition takes place at the Rencontres d'Arles in France and is not part of the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart's programme..Presented during the Rencontres d’Arles, from 6 July to 4 October 2026, the exhibition The Nature of Edward Steichen .highlights one of the most visionary photographers of the early twentieth century. Fascinated by the variations of light in nature, Steichen captures the reflections of the sky, the interplay of light and shadow in foliage, and the almost painterly brilliance of flowers. Bringing together photographs drawn largely from the MNAHA collection as well as from the Edward Steichen family, the exhibition will present an exceptional body of work. This exhibition is co-produced by Lët’z Arles and the National Museum of Archaeology, History, and Art (MNAHA), with support from the National Audiovisual Center (CNA) and in collaboration with the Estate of Edward Steichen.
