Roundtables | Step Across the Border – An art scene spanning the Grande Région

Roundtables | Step Across the Border – An art scene spanning the Grande Région

As part of Luxembourg Art Week 2026
In collaboration with Mudam Luxembourg — in English

Over the past twenty-five years, cultural institutions, artists and public authorities have launched numerous initiatives to strengthen connections between cultural practitioners across the Greater Region. But where do these cross-border dynamics stand today in the field of contemporary art? Beyond economic and professional exchanges, can the Greater Region also be understood as a shared cultural space?

This roundtable explores the exchanges, collaborations and connections shaping artistic scenes across borders. It offers an opportunity to reflect on the conditions that might foster a shared artistic space and on the relationships connecting its various actors.

Roundtables. is a programme developed jointly by Mudam Luxembourg and Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain. Conceived as an informal space for discussing contemporary art, it aims to encourage dialogue, make artistic practices more accessible and foster meaningful exchanges between speakers and audiences.
