Nicodemo Raschella

CAW – Culture@Walfer is pleased to announce the exhibition “Le figuratif en évidence” by artist Nicodemo Raschella.

The opening reception will take place on July 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., with the artist in attendance.

The exhibition will then be open to the public from July 3 to 12, 2026.

.

Born in 1956 in Mammola, Calabria (Italy), Nicodemo Raschella arrived in Luxembourg at the age of eight.

Passionate about drawing from a very early age, he developed his talent as a child, sketching portraits and scenes from

everyday life. Trained notably by Foni Tissen, René Zambon, and Armand Schiltz, he was also

.

influenced artistically by Attilio Lupo.

After a career marked by various exhibitions in Luxembourg and across Europe, the artist has evolved

his style, moving from a fantastical period to a resolutely hyperrealistic approach since the 2000s.

Today, his work demonstrates great technical mastery and a strong artistic sensibility.

An active member of Art Vivant Differdange, Nicodemo Raschella exhibits regularly and pursues

his artistic practice with passion. This exhibition invites the public to discover a rich figurative world,

the result of a life journey marked by perseverance and a love of art.
