Aranjuez, reflet d'un oiseau rebelle

Aranjuez, reflet d'un oiseau rebelle

Have you seen that “rebellious bird that none can tame”? It wanders through garden paths lined with warm, exotic blooms, weaving between delicately Moorish-inspired patterns and shapes. In the gentle murmur of the fountains lingers the whisper of incandescent passion. Here appears Carmen — elusive, untamed — and there, the captivating guitarist with his tender, romantic spirit. Along the road from Seville to Aranjuez stretches a radiant canopy of stars, where countless lights trace the path of these lovers while echoing the timeless myths of our earthly world. Within this whirlwind of passion, David Reiland invites us into a realm of dreams and remembrance. The journey begins with the shimmering, poetic world of composer Camille Pépin and her Eaux célestes., inspired by a Chinese legend beneath the starlit sky. The reverie continues through the plucked strings of Thibaut Garcia in the Concierto de Aranjuez., drawing us into an imagined Spain of colour and longing. At last, the brilliance of the arias from Carmen rises to the surface, sealing this passionate fresco in one final blaze of sound and emotion.
