"Adventskalenner" and "Tree Light Show"

At the Place Emile Hamilius, for the first time this year, a bright Christmas tree has been set up as an Advent calendar. Each day reveals a unique light installation: with the help of garlands, new images and motifs are conjured up every night.

The light animation 'Tree Light Show' will be held every day on the Place d'Armes, at 5.30 p.m., 6.30 p.m., 7.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.

"Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart" on the Place d'Armes

On the Place d'Armes is the "Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart", the cradle of the Luxembourg Christmas markets. Among the band stand and many stalls selling colourful creations from jewellery to toys, the highlight is a wonderfully decorated 13m high Nordmann fir tree. A canopy facilitates social gatherings in a cosy atmosphere in any weather. Don’t miss the hourly Tree Light Show in the evenings.

At Christmas, you can take the 32m high and Ferris wheel to see the views from up above and literally look the beautiful Golden Lady in the eyes.

Plenty of fun for kids too; giant trampolines, carousels and other rides promise a lot of fun.
