Description
On the 'Giele Botter' geological tour, you will learn more about the history of ore mining and the deposits in the Giele Botter open-cast mining area. The 2.5-kilometre long hiking trail is all about old mine entrances, open-cast mining in general and also about fossils unearthed during the work. The trail leads through the present-day nature reserve Prënzebierg – Giele Botter.
