In Weiswampach, in the north of Luxembourg, was a “Bannmühle”. Already mentioned in the 16th century, it was set in a rural setting near important roads and waterways that facilitated its use. Although it has disappeared today, its special significance in the region remains noteworthy, as it played an exceptional role compared to other mills and had a lasting impact on local life.
