Travertine source Kallektuffquell

At the Travertine source situated in the valley of the Ernz Noire crystal-clear calcareous water flows over a rock formation into a basin. The colors of the water and the rock as well as the variety of moss are impressive.

This wonderful place is accessible by the local hiking trail W7 (10.2 km) with starts at Heringer Millen or by Route 3 of the Mullerthal Trail. Before you reach the source, you walk over a 600 m long wooden bridge, which also leads along the river and crosses it several times.

Hike: Route 3 Mullerthal Trail, W7 (10,2 km)
Closest bus stop: Müllerthal Schiessentümpel (Parking) (1,4 km)
