The lowest point in Luxembourg (D)

Vëlosummer 2026 - Wou läit Buddeler? (D)

Here, at the confluence of the Moselle and Sauer Rivers in Wasserbillig, lies the lowest point of Luxembourg, at approximately 133 metres above sea level. The Moselle shapes this area as an important border river between Luxembourg and Germany. For centuries, it has served as a transportation route, a natural habitat, and the foundation of regional viticulture, giving the region its distinctive character.
