Between Gréngewald and the Mullerthal Region around Junglinster, Altlinster, Bourglinster, Godbrange, Oberanven and Ernster, two bird protection and flora-fauna-habitat areas each extend over a total of 4,258 hectares.
The valley landscapes are home to various birds of the wet grassland, such as the quail king, but also the open country offers an important habitat to skylark or quail for example.
