Forest playground "Bambësch"

Where? 22, Rue de Bridel, L-1264 Luxembourg

The ideal play area for young explorers is the recently rebuilt Bambsch woodland playground!

It is situated in a gorgeous green space with towering trees and spectacular natural beauty in addition to having the most fantastic slides, swings, sand pit, wooden parcours, zip line, climbing wall and water playground.
This playground also has picnic tables and seats, shaded spaces, restrooms, and potable water.
The playground is organised into a number of areas that appeal to kids in various age groups. The playground's components are designed after famous city sites such the Alzette River, the Bock Promontory, the Castle Bridge, the Hollow Tooth, the Three Towers, and the Castle Bridge.

The purpose of the Bambesch playground is to improve the children's sensory abilities by fostering a fun atmosphere that stimulates the senses.

Children are invited to make music in the sound maze inside the castle structures using xylophones, which are musical instruments. People with limited mobility can reach places with a stable floor, and certain locations have ramps installed to make them accessible to those using wheelchairs.
It's a truly amazing playground where kids may play together for hours on end!

The playground offers also:

  • Parking at the entrance
  • Toilets
  • Potable Water
  • Tables and benches
  • Shady areas
  • Water playground
  • Sand pit
  • Slides
  • Swings
