Champ du Glacis is a large, open space on the edge of the city centre that mostly serves as a car park for over 1000 cars. Directly connected to free public transport by tram and bus, Glacis offers central parking for all visitors arriving by car. For 3 weeks a year, the Champ du Glacis is transformed into a popular fun fair: the Schueberfouer. On Luxembourg's National Day, open-air concerts are also held here. From March until November, the "Glacismaart"market is taking place once a month offering a diverse range of products.
