Promenade UNESCO

During this tour, you will pass along the fortifications through the Petruss Park, halfway between the upper and lower towns, and end in the old town. The guided tour offers numerous views of the remains of the former fortress, which, together with the old districts, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994 as an urban ensemble. During this tour, you will learn more about Luxembourg’s important role in European history.

Upon request and by prior arrangement, the UNESCO Visitor Centre in the Lëtzebuerg City Museum and/or the archaeological crypt beneath the Plateau du Saint-Esprit can be included in the tour.
