Mansfeld Circular Walk

Near today's residential and entertainment district of Rives de Clausen, a Renaissance palace with gardens and hunting grounds was built in the 16th century. 

Accompanied by a tour guide and using drawings and an augmented reality app, you can reconstruct this lost gem and gain insight into the exciting life of its builder, Count of Mansfeld and Governor of Luxembourg. In 1564, he began with the construction of his new residence, "La Fontaine", in the valley outside the city's walls. A large, imposing building was built at the entrance to his estate. Today, it houses the Brasserie Mansfeld restaurant.
