With Torch, one of the most influential figures in German-language hip-hop comes to Luxembourg.
As a co-founder of the legendary crew Advanced Chemistry, he made music history in the early 1990s and set new standards for politically and socially conscious rap in the German-speaking world with tracks like “Fremd im eigenen Land.” His intelligent lyrics, exceptional command of language, and uncompromising stance have influenced generations of rappers and continue to make him one of the most important voices in hip-hop culture today.
As a solo artist, Torch also broke new ground with the classic “Blauer Samt.” He was furthermore part of the project Brothers Keepers and contributed to the groundbreaking track “Adriano (Letzte Warnung),” alongside artists such as Samy Deluxe, Afrob, Xavier Naidoo, and many others. He also gained international attention through his appearance on DJ Tomekk’s hit “Return of Hip Hop,” featuring hip-hop legends like KRS-One and MC René.
Together with his long-time collaborator Toni-L and DJ Soundtrax, Torch delivers a live show that combines hip-hop history, lyrical precision, and timeless beats at the highest level.
The evening opens with local heroes Corbi & David Fluit (De Läb) alongside DJ PC.
