Stone: From Times Past to the Threshold of Eternity

A unique concert where heritage, nature and contemporary creation come together to bring iconic places back to life through the music of Pierre Kremer.

Reviving and reinventing places to make them more accessible. Red Rocks., by composer Pierre Kremer, the centrepiece of the Estro Armonico Orchestra's concert, perfectly embodies this idea. Inspired by numerous walks through the former mining site of Giele Botter, the work evokes the wonders of nature reclaiming the landscape. Through its intrinsic beauty, it encourages listeners to discover Giele Botter in person, where hiking trails reveal delicate orchids and the site's characteristic red rocks.

The Estro Armonico Orchestra will perform two concerts at two heritage sites. The venues selected for the world premiere of Pierre Kremer's Red Rocks. are an 18th-century farmhouse in Dudelange and the Slate Museum in Martelange. Both sites have successfully adapted to changing times while preserving and showcasing their architectural heritage and traditional craftsmanship.
