The Festival du Vivant is a unique family-friendly celebration where heritage, nature and cultures come together. Designed as an immersive journey, the Festival invites visitors of all ages to explore beautiful historic gardens, experience biodiversity, discover traditional craftsmanship and enjoy music, gastronomy and cultural encounters from Europe, Africa and beyond.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy:
Guided tours of the historic Baroque gardens and new botanical tours.
A unique Journey through Life, discovering remarkable trees, sculptures, fountains, the Rose Garden and the symbolic beauty of the estate.
Explore the historic kitchen garden with the Château's master gardener and take part in a fun family vegetable quiz.
Taste authentic specialities from more than ten countries, offered by twelve international food stands.
Enjoy free open-air concerts, traditional Luxembourg folk dances, Rockabilly music, young emerging artists and cultural performances throughout the day.
Children will love the creative workshops, nature activities, storytelling, pottery, face painting and Montessori-inspired discoveries.
The Festival also highlights inspiring environmental initiatives presented by the Green Heart Luxembourg Association and the Green Heart Luxembourg Foundation, showcasing projects dedicated to biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, including the Great Green Wall initiative in Africa.
