End of Summer Stargazing
An incredible evening under the Éislek sky, discovering some of the most beautiful sights of the late-summer and early-autumn night.
As summer draws to a close, the night sky begins to change — and some spectacular celestial objects come into view. Join Nightwise for a relaxed guided stargazing evening open to everyone, from complete beginners to curious skywatchers and families.
Through telescopes and guided naked-eye observation, we will explore highlights of the seasonal sky including Saturn and its rings, the Andromeda Galaxy, distant nebulae, star clusters. and other deep-sky objects visible on the night. Along the way, we will learn how to recognise constellations, navigate the sky and understand what we are actually seeing across the enormous distances of space.
No previous astronomy knowledge is needed. Just come curious, look up and enjoy a memorable evening beneath one of Luxembourg's darker skies.

Please bring warm layers and sturdy shoes — nights in the Éislek can become surprisingly chilly as summer comes to an end. This is an outdoor event and depends on suitable sky conditions, so it may be rescheduled if the weather does not allow us to provide the experience we want.
