A passion for Art Nouveau

Where? 1, Marché-aux-Poissons -, L-2345 Luxembourg Training/Conferences

With Alex Bodry

Talk.

"It began 28 years ago: with two small Art Nouveau vases, spontaneously purchased in Hamburg. Through the study of this international art movement, visits to flea markets in France and Belgium, and occasional participation in auctions, a collection gradually took shape, through which I also discovered Luxembourgish artists. It later became the foundation for a shop project by my wife in Dudelange."In this lecture, Alex Bodry shares with the public his undiminished enthusiasm as a collector of Art Nouveau. It is the extraordinary diversity of Art Nouveau, as well as the desire of artists of the time to forge new paths, that continues to fascinate him to this day.
